The Caii de la Letea wine was born in the oldest vineyard of Dobruja, near the hills of Sarica and Niculițel, where grapevine cultivation has been a common practice for millennia. Although the selection of grapes, their ushering into the cellar, and the traditional methods, dating from thousands of years ago, have essentially been preserved, the new winemaking technologies are masterfully handled by internationally renowned oenologists, emphasizing the specific imprint of the Sarica Niculițel region.
One of the most iconic vineyard varieties is Aligote, a variety into which we have poured our heart and skill, and which continues to reward us with a series of renowned international competitions.
Born between sand and oak, they live free as the wind that ruffles their manes, they are the unwritten horses of a story that still runs. They are not lost, but remain, on the edge of the world, where the forest and the sand still know what a stray horse is.
