

Histria Winery is the place where passion for wine and respect for nature come together perfectly. Located just steps away from the picturesque shores of the Black Sea, our winery prides itself on producing vegan wines. At the heart of this winery is Paul Fulea, a man deeply connected to nature, who dedicates every day to creating authentic wines in harmony with the earth.
Histria Winery - Wild Yeast Winery, uses spontaneous or wild fermentation, where natural yeasts, present in the environment or on the grapes, are responsible for the fermentation of the grape into wine. This traditional method produces unique and complex wines.

De Histria was created to highlight the varieties with a special character that are found in the vineyard. Riesling and Pinot Noir – located in atypical areas of origin, manage to offer wines with other structures than those we would expect. Also, we use Merlot from the plantation established in 1976, vinified with wild yeast, unbarricaded.


AMMOS means “sand” in Greek and reflects the perfect mix of the area we are in. At Histria winery we have sandy terrain, we are close to the sea (we watch the sun rise from the sea) and we are in the area with the strongest Greek influence in Romania. The colors of the labels reflect the life of the plantation – the green leaves of the vine, the blue of the sea and the ripe, purple grapes.


NIKOLAOS translates as “the one who rules over people” (Greek) and is a manifest brand from two points of view:
It is a “memorial”, a living preservation of the name of Neculai, of my father, and a way of carrying his work forward.


This Fetească Regală delights the senses with its original version, emanating fragrant and full-bodied aromas, with subtle floral nuances of acacia and honeycomb. The wine, similar in color to honey, opens briskly on the palate, offering a vibrant experience with delicate notes of pink grapefruit. The finish is soft and seductive, incorporating the beautiful minerality characteristic of the Dobrogea terroir. A wine that delights any connoisseur of Fetească Regală.
