Prince Matei, a terroir wine par excellence, has its roots on the austere terraces and plateaus of two hills: Tegăneanu and Zorilor. The over 40-year-old vines, the clay, gravel, and limestone all bled together into the complex personality, intensity, and finesse of this wine. Its history, spanning more than 20 years, enables us to confidently size up its progress over time.
