A wine that pays homage to the Dealu Mare terroir, the emblematic blend of the area.
An intense ruby red, with a crimson glow, dense, with important structure. The nose is intense and complex, a blend of fresh black fruits, but also of prunes and dried figs, cinnamon and nutmeg, with a touch of bitter chocolate with mint cream.
After a light warming of 2-3 degrees, notes of slightly vanilla-like pipe tobacco appear, as well as artisanal leather. The taste is full, structured, with velvety tannins and an almost perfect balance. On the palate, we encounter chocolate again, a slightly minty note, but also fruit. Long aftertaste. It is a wine that can evolve easily for at least another 15 years, and the perfect period for consumption will be about 8 years after the harvest date.
